In 1749 Charles Le Brun developed a theory of expression, which was about what kind of expression should take a person's face covered by a particular passion - emotion. He argued that the passion - a movement of the soul. Heart fills blood that passes through it by the "spirits", and that blood gets to the brain. The brain sends a "spirits" to other parts of the body through the nerves. Thus, that part which involved more gets more "spirits" and consequently swells more than those deprived of their resulting look more sluggish than others.
In 2016, Svetlana Levchenko could not passed through the theory, which contains the words "expression", "passion", "soul". "The Passion of M. Lebrun" - is an attempt to study the evolution of emotion. Is there a difference between the expression of feelings in 1749 and 2016
